Welcome to my "Working Internet"
NOTE! Due to a server upgrade this website was inadvertently recovered from a previous version in our backup archives. It's obviously way out of date! Although I have made some quick "critical" updates... We'll try and restore the 'real' most recent version... uh, soon.
It’s a jungle out there for us working women! When trudging through the Internet for the right information and advice where does one look? Try The Working Woman's Legal Survival Guide at work.com. Also checkout The Working Woman’s network. And last but not least "Women and Work" has some excellent links at the The Feminist Foundation site.

About Me: My employer is eps-software, a great company to work for! I've been working with the software business for quite sometime now. My employment experience also includes real-estate and and land title business, comprehensive work in the petroleum industry and general office management and administration. I also have extensive experience in accounts payable, receivable, purchase/sales orders and business payroll areas...
Occasionally I do enjoy undertaking a little software and web page development. I think it's very interesting and in many ways actually fun. Along with my personal site I also designed and built the business website for one of my previous employers, Dream Homes, Inc. Dream Homes was the first job I landed after I moved to Spring from Sundown back in `97. It was was also a wonderful company to work for, although it has since been bought out and all those great people I worked with have moved on.
About This Website
My internet site is being provided via our own personal web servers right from our home office! For our servers we use high-end HP ProLiants with Intel Pentium CPUs using standard IDE storage. Our servers are up 24x7 running that powerful and robust OS RedHat Linux. We also host many additional domains including our daughter's (old and no longer active) game project Spirit-Flight. All our domains are registered through GoDaddy, the cheapest of internet name services. Over time we've acquired many names, including that rather familiar one, darkshadow.com. We also maintain numerous full featured Email servers and DNS on our network. All our home PCs are (economically) 10 Base-T and wireless networked and we utilize the latest Linux and Cayman Router Firewall technology. Although Rick does most of the server management, I do like to work with it every now and then. He doesn't know I have my own Root account and password! If you'd like us to host your own website from our server just let us know. We have bandwidth out the wazoo!
And ya know... This page is (of course) under development...
